Communal Dinner + Creative Workshop: Art Grounded in Community

CALLING ALL ICA TEENS ALUMS!

Join us for a communal dinner plus a hands-on workshop on creating art grounded in a community that can shape the future.

Throughout the night we will showcase a video made especially for us by local artist Lily Xie. She is a Chinese-American artist and educator whose socially-engaged work explores desire, memory, and self-actualization for communities of color.

Together, we will do creative exercises created by Lily that will develop our knowledge, skills, and methods for working with and within communities as artists. We will have opportunities to reflect, share, and dream together.

The workshop will run from 5:30-7:30 pm. Dinner will be available starting at 5 pm.
